Use it in reception areas, school offices, interview rooms or shared meeting spaces where visitors need a clearly defined place to sit. It can also form part of a larger seating arrangement for staff discussions and parent meetings, with finishes coordinated to nearby desks and tables.

The compact triangular seat permits several sitting orientations rather than prescribing one front-facing position. Its small footprint allows compatible chairs to be grouped closely around a circular table, providing a different arrangement from conventional rectangular seat shells.

Allow space around each chair for comfortable entry and exit, particularly beside desk returns and reception furniture. Select the configuration that fits the intended users and floor surface, and coordinate the seat finish with the room’s existing furniture.

Stakki permits a wide range of positions, whether sitting towards the front, the side, the back, or at an angle. Users can sit on Stakki from every side and still enjoy the same ergonomic comfort. The chair seat has a small surface, but it is exactly the right amount to ensure all-round sitting comfort.

Exceptionally space-saving

At floor level, Stakki again takes up little space and can be easily pushed close together like the slices of a cake. Six chairs can fit around a circular table while leaving ample freedom of movement for the legs.

For indoor and outdoor use

Stakki has been comprehensively tested for safety and passed with flying colors. Testing by the TÜV association also certifies that it is suitable and authorized for indoor and outdoor use, and Stakki has scored top marks on the lightfastness test which evaluates the color-fastness of a material against the influence of light.

Design: Martin Ballendat

Designer Martin Ballendat and his studio have worked for numerous international companies and brands, designing furniture for residential use as well as for the non-domestic and office sectors. He has always been fascinated by the function of chairs. In the case of Stakki, he has provided an extreme example of the designer’s art. He wanted to reduce the chair to an absolute minimum. His vision: As little as conceivably possible to provide the greatest possible functionality. A chair that is full of freedom and exceptionally versatile. The result now stands firmly on its own three feet.

Warranty & Support

VS America furniture is backed by a 12-year limited manufacturer’s warranty unless otherwise noted, providing schools with added confidence in their furniture investment. The warranty covers qualifying defects in materials and craftsmanship during normal use.

Certain components have different warranty periods. Mechanical components, soft seating elements, and standard fabrics and upholstery are generally covered for five years, while writable laminates are covered for three years. VS America may repair or replace qualifying defective products or provide a credit in accordance with its warranty terms.
