Add flexible soft seating with the Noa Ottoman by Flexxform. The upholstered form works as part of a reading area, conversation group or informal learning setting.

Use it within a library reading area, student lounge or informal conversation group where a compact upholstered piece suits the layout. It can complement larger lounge seats or help define a smaller gathering area around an occasional table.

Key features include an upholstered ottoman format with contrasting fabric options.

A plywood base supports the upholstered seating form. The selected shape, base and upholstery determine the final configuration, allowing the piece to coordinate with surrounding seats while retaining its distinct lounge profile.

Coordinate the selected shape, height and finish with the people using the space and the neighbouring furniture. For grouped pieces, plan the overall footprint and leave routes between the seating and the room’s main circulation areas.

About Flexxform

Flexxform designs and manufactures soft seating for active, high-use learning environments where comfort, flexibility and durability are important. Their education-friendly collection includes modular seating, lounge furniture, benches, ottomans, occasional tables and child-size seating for students of different ages.

From classroom reading areas and libraries to collaborative spaces and student commons, Flexxform furniture is designed to help schools create comfortable spaces for individual focus, group work and informal learning. Many collections can be easily arranged and reconfigured as the needs of the space change.

Quality & Construction

Flexxform furniture is built for demanding, high-traffic environments with an emphasis on long-term strength and everyday performance. Many upholstered products use the company’s Enduraframe construction, made with solid hardwood and high-quality plywood rather than particleboard or MDF. Reinforced joints and additional support at high-stress areas help the furniture withstand frequent movement and regular use.

Depending on the collection, additional construction features may include commercial-grade foam, reinforced double-stitched seams, durable seat webbing and non-marring feet. Many Flexxform products are also ANSI/BIFMA compliant.

Materials, dimensions and performance features vary by product.

Materials & Sustainability

Flexxform offers a wide variety of upholstery, finishes and customization options, making it easy for schools to create furniture that complements their colours and learning environment. Depending on the product, options may include contrasting fabrics, decorative stitching, custom embroidery, moisture barriers and other specialized features. School logos can also be embroidered on select soft seating.

Flexxform also takes steps to support healthier and more environmentally responsible spaces. All Flexxform seating is MAS Certified Green Plus™, meaning it has been independently tested for low chemical emissions and healthier indoor air quality. Wood used in its products is sourced from sustainable forests in Canada and the United States and is FSC and/or SFI certified. Flexxform also incorporates manufacturing offcuts and excess materials back into product construction where possible to help reduce waste.

Warranty & Support

Flexxform furniture is backed by a comprehensive 25-year manufacturer’s warranty. The warranty covers the frame, foam, stitching and feet, providing added confidence for schools investing in furniture intended for long-term use.

Certain materials and components have different warranty periods. Upholstery is generally covered for five years unless the upholstery manufacturer provides longer coverage, while moving parts and power components are covered for 10 years.

Flexxform also provides access to product representatives and customer support for product selection, specifications, customization and project assistance. Warranty coverage, available options and product specifications should be confirmed for the individual product at the time of purchase.
